Blair BlissTransition Architect

When the life you built no longer fits, redesign it on purpose.

I help high-capacity people redesign their life when the old structure stops fitting the person they've become, bringing the depth of transformation together with the rigor of a strategist.

Portrait of Blair Bliss, Transition Architect

01 · The Moment I Work In

You know the moment when the life you built stops fitting the person you've become: the career, the role, the relationship, the whole identity. Most people meet that moment unarmed: white-knuckling through reinvention, exit, or awakening with no map, and no one who can hold both the feeling and the plan.

I don't believe transition is a breakdown to survive. It's a design problem to solve, and the people most capable of remaking the world are often the ones quietly stuck at their own threshold. My work is to stand with you there: to see the whole system clearly, name what's actually true, and architect the next chapter so it fits the person you've actually become.

Not therapy. Not a pep talk. A re-architecture.

02 · The Method · An Old Art

Solve et Coagula.

Dissolve what no longer holds. Keep what's true. Recombine it into something more alive.

Every real transition is the same ancient process the alchemists named: separation, purification, recombination. I don't add more to an already-overwhelmed life. We take it apart to its essences, decide together what to set down, and rebuild only from what's worth carrying forward.

Solve

Separate

See the whole system, then take it apart to its true parts: what's structure, what's story, what's no longer yours to hold.

Purify

Set down

The hard, clarifying cut. Redesign isn't addition. It begins with deciding what to release. What's left is the salt worth keeping.

Coagula

Recombine

Build the next chapter from what's true, a real structure, fitted to the person you've actually become. More alive than what came before.

Most people who can hold deep, transformative space cannot build systems. Most who can build systems cannot hold space. I do both: soul and structure, at the same table.

That's the whole practice. A transition isn't only something to feel your way through, or only something to plan your way out of. It's both at once, and it asks for someone fluent in both.

03 · How We Work Together

Three doorways.

Each begins with one conversation. We choose the right one together. Never before.

The work produces a written map, not a good feeling. The old behaviors do not vanish. You decide which ones to lead with, and that decision holds when it is specific and rehearsed: the when, the where, the how. The language shifts first. Then the new way has somewhere to stand. We write that language together, and it is what you walk out holding.

The Clarity Intensive

The Threshold
One 3-hour session

The threshold. For when you need to see the whole picture now, not months from now. One focused sitting, and you leave clearer than you arrived, ready to move.

  • One focused 3-hour working session
  • A written Transition Map you keep
  • Your first true moves, named and sequenced

The Reorientation

The Core
90 days

The flagship. A season of private work for someone actively in, or entering, a major transition. From stuck and disoriented to a clear next chapter you're already building.

  • 9 private sessions over 90 days
  • Direct access between sessions
  • My working frameworks, and a written life-redesign blueprint

The Architecture

The Whole Rebuild
6 months

The whole rebuild, and the deepest work I do. Six months for the person remaking everything at once, ready to go all in. We take the entire life apart to its essences and build it back, deliberately, with nothing true left behind.

  • Everything in The Reorientation, over six months
  • Three intensive days, beginning, middle, and end, in person or virtual. I can come to you.
  • A ritual and nature-based process, plus ongoing advisory

Investment is shared in our first conversation, once we know which doorway is yours.

How It Starts

One conversation.

A Clarity Call. My only aim is that you leave clearer than you arrived, regardless of what we decide next. If it's a fit, we design the engagement that matches where you actually are.

A Deeper Layer of the Work

Apothecary N’ Bliss.

The generative act is subtractive.

Beneath the redesign runs an older art, the one the alchemists called spagyric: separate, purify, recombine. It's the same method as the life-work, followed all the way down to the plant. Now a medicine is coming into being under this name: single-plant spagyrics I distill by hand, recombined into one blend your own body chooses. Made for one person. Yours.

Common Questions

What is a Transition Architect?

I'm a peer-level advisor for capable, accomplished people redesigning their life when an identity, career, relationship, or sense of purpose stops fitting. The difference from a coach or a therapist is structural: I see the whole system clearly, name what's actually true, and build a concrete next chapter, not just insight. I bring 15+ years of executive leadership (CEO and VP roles in real estate development, an MBA in Ethics and Legal Studies) to the same table as deep transformative work, so the emotional, strategic, and structural layers get held at once.

Read the full definition, and how a transition architect compares to a coach, a consultant, and a therapist →

Who do you work with?

Thoughtful, high-capacity people actively in, or entering, a major transition: a career or identity shift, an exit, a relationship or purpose that no longer fits. Founders, executives, and independent people remaking something real, who want it done deliberately rather than by reaction.

How is this different from a life coach or a therapist?

Therapy tends to the past and the emotional. Coaching tends to motivation and accountability. I work at the level of structure: integrating the emotional, strategic, and structural at once, and turning the situation into a concrete plan you can build. Not therapy, not a pep talk. A re-architecture.

How does it start, and what does it cost?

Every engagement begins with one conversation, a Clarity Call. My aim is that you leave clearer than you arrived, regardless of what you decide next. If it's a fit, we design the engagement that matches where you are, and I share the investment in that first conversation.

What is "full-spectrum alchemy"?

It's my term for working fluently across a range most people split in half: the structural (capital, systems, the built environment) and the embodied (the body, the nervous system, plant medicine). One method (separate, purify, recombine) applied at every scale.

Where are you based?

I'm based in Denver, Colorado, and work with clients remotely and worldwide.

Signal

Solve et Coagula, on the page.

A book is on the way, the philosophy beneath all of this, distilled. Signal is the work of separation and recombination turned on the systems we already live inside of: how to read them clearly enough to know what to keep, what to set down, and what to build next.

More soon. Leave your name and I’ll find you when it arrives.
